The study tour and music recording provide musicians,music educators and researchers with the opportunity to learn about the music of the Volta Region and collaborate with local artists ,and,for the music residencies,compose and record their own material in the recording studio.
The Volta Region is an incredibly and inspiring region for musician to spend time in immersed in a culture where music -from Borbor to agbadza to hip life-infuses every aspect of daily life,from work time,religious ceremonies,celebrations and funerals.The study tour and music residencies will expose the visiting musician to a variety of new rhythms ,cultural practices and styles of music with an opportunity to travel throughout the region to witness performances from a range of cultural groups.

Travelers will be met at the airport and driven to Ho where they will lodge at the hotel. In the evenings we will host live music performances and story tellinf sessions from the Tafi Atome Culture Group and special guest musicians from throughout the Volta Region ...plus weekly excursions to visit the local craft making villages,waterfalls mountains and culture group of the Region.
You will stay in the boarding house provided by the community,with large private bedrooms with ceiling fans and a share living room space and will be provided with 3meals daily of delicious home cooked Ghanaian food (vegetarian and other diets can be accommodated)tea,coffee and water.
